Poland's Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, has conveyed optimism about the imminent approval of financial assistance for Ukraine by both the United States and European Union nations. He highlighted positive developments on Friday, citing the UK Prime Minister's announcement of an additional £2.5 billion (US$3.1 billion) annual aid commitment to support Ukraine.

"I believe that further aid packages will soon be approved by both the US Congress and EU member states. The price of a possible Russian victory will be much higher than the cost of the aid that Ukraine needs now." - Radosław Sikorski said on his X (Twitter).
