Polish enterprises constitute 20 percent of the fastest-growing technology companies in Central Europe, according to the latest ranking by Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe 2019.
The top twenty on the list included three Polish companies: Semantive (14th place), Polish Standard Payments (17th place) and TestArmy Group (18th place). As in previous years, the ranking was dominated by software development companies.
Most companies come from the Czech Republic (19). Poland, with 11, ranked second, while third place went to Croatia, represented by six companies.
This year, a record number of companies applied for a spot in the ranking - over 300, of which almost 100 came from Poland. The representatives of Polish business present in the list come from all over the country: Warsaw, Wrocław, Piaseczno, Szczecin, Zielona Góra, Kraków and Poznań.
The "Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe" ranking lists the fastest developing technology companies in the Central Europe region. To have a chance to be included in the ranking, companies report their willingness to participate, while Deloitte verifies the financial data they provide.
Deloitte provides auditing, consulting, tax, financial advisory and risk management services to public and private sector clients. It operates in more than 150 countries.
