In the second piece of our series on ethnic and religious minorities in Hungary, we introduce the Ungarndeutsche, Germans in Hungary and their annual TrachtTag, Day of Costume. Since 2015, the local Germans celebrate the last Friday of April dressed in their native folk costumes, giving voice to their existence. This year, they had to do it at home.
