With the expansion of the Paks nuclear power plant and the realization of solar energy investments, Hungary will become fully self-sufficient in the field of electricity, which few countries can say about themselves, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Monday at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant.
The Paks Nuclear Power Plant is the first and only operating nuclear power station in Hungary. Altogether, its four reactors produce 35 to 40 percent of Hungary's electricity production. Photo by TAMAS SOKI / MTI / PAP/EPA
