"EU elites want to strip Poland and other member countries of their sovereignty," warned European Parliament member and PiS politician Jacek Saryusz-Wolski in a morning broadcast on Radio WNET, cautioning against plans to change treaties and transform Europe from a union of sovereign nations into a superstate managed without regard to the will of the voters.

Jacek Saryusz-Wolski is a Polish MEP and was the first Minister for European Affairs in post-Soviet Poland. He was also the negotiator for Poland's Association Agreement with the EU and its membership. He was elected to the European Parliament in 2004 and was the first Polish Vice-President from 2004 to 2007. He has played an active role in the European Parliament, particularly concerning energy, gas supply security, and foreign and European neighborhood policies.
When asked by the host Krzysztof Skowroński during the broadcast, the PiS Member of the European Parliament was questioned about the progress of centralization within the European Union. He responded that they are already in the 'final stage of the first phase.' "European Parliament is to initiate the procedure of treaty changes under Article 48. To do this, the approval of a report, which is already prepared, is required," noted Jacek Saryusz-Wolski today, adding that the vote in the European Parliament on the 110-page document endorsed by communists, socialists, greens, liberals, and conservatives was likely postponed to avoid harming the Polish opposition, to be held on October 25th."

The Member of the European Parliament emphasized that the report introduces changes to the treaties in 267 places across approximately 100 articles, shifting competencies from member states to the European Union in ten areas, 'such as environment, climate, foreign policy, security policy, defense policy, border policy, education, industry, health, and transportation infrastructure.' He also noted that the report essentially eliminates the veto right almost everywhere, allowing the use of a veto only in the case of voting on the admission of new members to the Union," observed MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski. "Additionally, the document introduces elements of a cultural and ideological revolution, replacing treaty phrases concerning gender equality with the term 'gender' in several dozen places.
European Super State
"This is an attack on the system. It's no longer a union of sovereign states but a superstate where member states would be reduced to the role of regions," emphasized MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski.
"If we don't wake up the societies and political forces now, this attempt may succeed," warned the PiS politician, adding that in the current European Parliament, the project could gain the support of the majority. "We are already halfway into this centralist structure," he noted, adding that if today's opposition governs Poland, the new government in Warsaw will undoubtedly agree to the proposed solutions. "If all these competencies transfer to the Union (...), then the countries will become regions, and at the country level, you will only be able to elect regional parliaments. Elections will be formal, but no longer genuine," predicted the politician in an interview on Radio WNET, explaining that the competencies of individual states would be smaller than those of individual states in the United States. "The governance would be in the hands of elites, without having to consider citizens and voters," he warned.
The Member of the European Parliament emphasized that the EU elites fear a Polish referendum on the matter because if the Poles say "no" to illegal migration and forced relocation, they will politically lose. "They are afraid that it will infect other countries, which will also hold referendums," noted Jacek Saryusz-Wolski.
EU-Russia Alliance?
"The underlying goal is a European superstate aligning with Russia, envisioning 'Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok,' sidelining America," observed Jacek Saryusz-Wolski.
